About BTC Online Library
BTC Online Library: “Becoming the Church Online Library” is the name of Ann M. Wolf’s spiritual resource center via this website, which provides support and inspiration to members of the Body of Christ around the world in the form of Bible Lessons, Christian Music, Videos, Commentary, Broadcasts and more. Open accordion to read Mission Statement (see below).
Website History & New Site Name
Formerly MOTL: Originally referred to as “Message of the Lighthouse Library” (MOTL), the concept behind that former title was a reminder to keep our eyes on the Lighthouse (God) above the storms of life, a practice which will guide us through even the most difficult of challenges as we grow and are changed by His Spirit, from Glory to Glory.
BTC New Branding But Same Inspiring Content: Going forward, the branding for this website has consolidated to “Becoming the Church,” (BTC) to bring much needed, common-sense, practical biblical support to individual seekers as well as spiritual leaders across the world. Rest assured that the same lessons that readers have enjoyed for the past number of years have remained here at BTC Online Library for both “Sozo Bible Studies” and the “Becoming the Church (BTC) Study Experience.”
New Resources are being added
BTC Broadcasts: Starting in 2025 Chaplain Ann M. Wolf will be offering videos of lessons, interviews, and inspirational commentary with new broadcasts that will be available to stream from audio or visual platforms. Sign Up for Chaplain Ann’s free newsletter to be kept informed of these launches or of other inspirational content as it becomes available.
BTC Books: Also planned for 2025 is the release of Volume 1, “Becoming the Church Study Experience” in E book form or as a convenient and very portable paperback book, ideal for times when readers are offline or to use in conjunction with other resources here at BTC Online Library. Again, Sign Up for Chaplain Ann’s free newsletter to learn of release dates on this or other content.
Two Websites to serve your needs
Website Options: Chaplain Ann M. Wolf has two websites that are inter-connected by links. This website, “Becoming the Church Online Library,” carries the bulk of the literary and Bible Study content. Ann M. Wolf Media site is where you can find a Contact Form, Newsletter Sign-Up, Press Kits, Bio, Music Store, and more related to communications, music, and the release of new videos and broadcasts.
Why Two Websites? You may wonder why the need for two sites. Each website requires different software and also with such rich content on both sites (literary and musical), the navigation is faster when the total content is separated.
Speed of Navigation: In fact, you might find that the navigation is a bit slower at BTC Online Library (opening some pages) than the overall speed of page changing between here and Ann M. Wolf Media, but that is due to the extensive length of the comprehensive articles found within some of the study plans.
Hit the back arrow to return: Each website has links to the other in the menu and visitors can always hit the back arrow to return to a prior page.
Wishing you a wonderful time of exploration and discovery through both of Chaplain Ann M. Wolf’s websites.

BTC Online Library Mission & Vision Statement
This statement was written from the heart by Chaplain Ann M. Wolf yet it is also expressed on behalf of those associated with BTC who are committed to learning how to live by “The Two Commandments of Jesus,” while continuing to walk in Mercy and Grace.
“We seek to become those who live, grow, serve, and speak from the Spirit within us, to walk in the fullness of Grace so that the Light of God and the Fruit of the Spirit will be found in us.”
“And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is Truth” 1 John 5:6 (KJV)
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law” Galatians 5:22 & 23 (KJV)
Thus, we are committed to learning “how” to walk daily in the fullness of God’s Love and Mercy, while depending on Grace for guidance and “Its enabling power” to transform our souls by the Spirit of God.
“If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit” Galatians 5:25 (KJV)
We are committed to learning what it means to honor the Commandments of Jesus… “To Love God with all of our heart, mind, and strength and to Love our neighbor as ourselves,” as well as “To deny the self (old nature/old man), to pick up our cross” (hold to the Spirit no matter how challenging the event) and follow Jesus (which is to learn to walk daily in mercy and grace).
“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” Matthew 22:37- 40 (KJV)
“A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love, one to another.” – John 13:34-35 (KJV)“If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.” Matthew 16:24-25 (KJV)
We invite all those who wish to share their Spiritual journey with us, to join in Community and in Communion as we reach for the Spirit to become Spiritual in nature, as we learn to live and walk by the Leading of the Spirit, and as we stand in prayer for each other, so that we will remain strong and merciful by the Spirit throughout all our trials and throughout our entire soul-transformation experience, “Unto” becoming “Christ-like” souls.
“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.” Ephesians 6:18 (KJV)
We offer support and edification to all people, regardless of religious or denominational affiliations, race, gender, cultural background or nationality.
We wish to fellowship together as Family by the Spirit of God, as we grow in Godly (Agape) Love, Godly Knowledge, and Godly Wisdom, all possible by the leading of the Spirit. In so doing, we wish to share with others the process of healing and transformation, as the Spirit creates within us, a deeper understanding of how to Love and how to express our Love in practical and meaningful ways.
This is what God our Father would have us do… to bring His Love and Comfort to others while we experience His Peace, moment to moment, in our own lives.
“Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace and things wherewith one may edify another.” Romans 14:19 (KJV)

Scripture tells us that we who follow the Spirit “give” because our “changed nature in Christ” compels us to be kind and generous, and we give because we have already “received” God’s Mercy and Grace. Thus, we do not give from the motive of watching for a return; we give in a variety of ways such as to offer support & comfort as the Spirit leads us.
We in the Body are also taught to support the people and ministries from which we receive our spiritual nourishment, and we learn from Scripture that we are to care for those in need. So, if the Spirit leads you to pray, partner, donate, or lend a hand, your gifts are gratefully received. Read More.
Loving God & Loving Others
About Loving God: As mentioned throughout this website, the artistic works of Ann M. Wolf as well as the studies at “Becoming the Church Online Library” are based on the Two Commandments of Jesus, to “Love God, & Love Others.” But to Love God, we must get to know Him; hence, we in the Body of Christ have been given the blessing of the Written Word (Scriptures) + the Living Word (Spirit) to draw upon for knowledge & wisdom.
To support and encourage the deepening of a relationship with God, Ann has written, “Becoming The Church Study Experience,” as a step, by step, easy to follow process, covering all the basic elements of what it means to “Walk in Mercy as we embrace Grace.” This course can be experienced individually, or shared with a cell-ministry or other support group.
About Loving Others: Those of us who are followers of Jesus, are also missioned with sharing the Love of God with others so that everywhere we go, we are to respond with the “Spiritual Fruit” of kindness, mercy, hospitality, patience, generosity, and forgiveness. Our hope is, that as we grow spiritually, others can experience God’s love through us as we leave the gentle imprint of His presence each place we visit.

Is "The Church" a place or a state of Grace?
Is “The Church” a Place or a “State of Grace?”
According to Scripture, “The Church” is not so much a building we go to, but what we can “Grow into Becoming,” in that God’s “Church” or “Kingdom of God” is being built within those who walk by the Leading of the Spirit of God. So, if we are fortunate to have a gathering place we can go to throughout the week, that is a blessing indeed; but, if we find ourselves between such “church homes,” for whatever reason, we can still remain active and committed to growing spiritually as we seek to deepen our relationship with God every day. About Unity Via the Spirit
Shared Mission Values:
Love God – Unity via the Spirit of God and a deepening of our love for God
Love Others – The resolve to serve together, encourage one another, and bring comfort to those in need
Note from Chaplain Ann M. Wolf: Through we who access the BTC Online Library are from around the world and represent many different denominations and non-denominations, we all aspire to live by the Two Commandments of Jesus as we learn to walk in Mercy and hold to Grace.
Via the “One Spirit” which abides within each of us, we are connected, heart to heart and soul to soul.
Though we may keep different hours in different time zones, by virtue of the Spirit of God along with modern internet technology (at online meetings), we pray together, we study together, we serve God from various nations, all while experiencing our Unity in Christ as we move toward becoming “as Lighthouses unto God.”
Our shared aspiration is to be used of God in the fullness of His Plan for our lives and to be able to bring comfort to others in the way we love and serve from our respective corners of the world. So, welcome to Becoming the Church Online Library; and may our Heavenly Father bless you & keep you in His Mercy & Grace as we all seek to grow into “Becoming The Church.”
Sincerely in Christ, Chaplain Ann M. Wolf
Is BTC Online Library or Chaplain Wolf connected to a specific denomination or organization?
Is BTC Online Library or Ann M. Wolf connected to a specific denomination or organization?
No; BTC Online Library is an independent, interdenominational resource for “whosoever-will” among seekers and members of the Body of Christ.
Though some folks feel called to express their faith within the context of a specific denomination, non-denomination, organization, or “ism” within the Body of Christ, BTC Online Library does not operate under the auspices of any religious or political group. Nonetheless, Chaplain Ann M. Wolf does appreciate and support all individuals, churches, and communities who seek to offer mercy, comfort, compassion, patience, & love to others. She especially gives thanks for those who teach, “living by the leading of the Spirit.”
“Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.” – Matthew 7:20 (KJV)
What do I do if I read something I don’t agree with?
A Note from Chaplain Ann M. Wolf:
“From personal experience and from having completed the full program (approximately 3 years of daily reading), the Sozo Studies were soul-changing for Chaplain Wolf; but her relationship to these Lessons became in-depth as a result of spending years absorbing the content while God was laying the foundation of growth, principle upon principle. It was also very interesting to watch the Holy Ghost bring life situations to match lessons being learned which demonstrated how Spirit-led and “alive” that Bible Study can be.”
Chaplain Wolf shares, “It was so amazing; because even if I had to step away from the Sozo Studies for a day or two for work or other obligations, when I would come back, inevitably, the next paragraph would describe what I had just been through. Or when I finished a Lesson, it became predictable that I would find myself in a situation where I would have to use or apply what I had just read that day. As I progressed deeper into the Studies, I could really see the anointing on the over-all works but also on the overall experience of transformation. My awareness became acute, of the difference between perceptions (& reactions) through the lens of the old-nature vs. awareness and responses through the lens of the “New Nature” in Christ that was forming; and thus, I could really see how the Spirit within was leading me in every way, something which really deepened my relationship with Christ in a moment to moment manner.”
About differences of interpretation or perception: Chaplain Wolf continues, “As for differences in theological perspective that you may discover as you read, take what you can use and leave the rest. Bear in mind, however, that one can’t form a full opinion having read only a few pages. But for those who are seeking to walk in Mercy as they hold to Grace, then you will find lots of help in the Sozo Studies and other content here at BTC Online Library. You will also find that commentary is not given without full substantiation from/of Scriptures. In the end, we pray that these studies will encourage the development of Fruit of the Spirit, as your devotion to God increases. God be with you in your studies.“
Do I have to be religious or go to church every week to use the BTC Studies?
Do I have to be religious or go to church every week to use the BTC Online Library Studies?
Changed by the Spirit of God: Religion (along with cultural practices, rituals & ceremonies) can potentially help an individual focus on God and can offer comfort and fellowship for believers; but membership in a man-made “org” alone, cannot change a soul. However, it is proven, that moment to moment association with the Spirit of God can change a soul as well as give us the common elements upon which to base our experience of “Unity” as family, many people, yet “One Spirit.” Read More.
Your Home for Online Inspiration & Resources: So whether you associate with a particular church or “gathering place” or not, you are welcome at BTC Online Library. This is your home for inspiration, study, and worship, as the heart needs and as the Spirit leads. Read more about our Study Options.
What got Chaplain Ann M. Wolf started in the BTC Mission?
What got Chaplain Ann M. Wolf started with the BTC Mission?
History: Though Ann has been a God-seeker all of her life, the BTC Mission is based on an inspiration received during her morning prayer time on October 1, 2001; since that time, Ann spent decades studying, researching, praying & preparing to encourage folks around the world with a simple message: “Love God & Love Others,” as defined by the Two Commandments of Jesus. She also promotes awareness of our Unity via the Spirit of Christ which we all share.
Tell me more about Chaplain Ann M. Wolf’s purpose?
What is Ann M. Wolf’s purpose in sharing her musical and literary content?
Purpose: The Spiritual artistry of Ann M. Wolf is based on Matthew 22:37-40 as well as on the understanding that as we develop “Fruit of the Spirit” by our association with The Spirit, we will not only take on more and more attributes of the Spirit, but in the process, this ultimately will make us better “witnesses” via the presence of that Spirit flowing through us. Others can potentially be drawn to God by His Light and Love in us.
“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” Matthew 22:37-40
Says Chaplain Wolf, “One of our most important tasks in the Body is to not only pursue our personal relationship with God but also to encourage each other throughout the spiritual transformation process, as we also reach out to offer comfort and help to those in need.”
First Allegiance: Though the choices of religious affiliations in the Body of Christ are plentiful these days, Ann believes that our first allegiance must remain with God Himself, regardless of where we choose to worship or study; and our daily actions must be motivated by Mercy while reaching for Grace (Holy Spirit within), since the Living Spirit of God gives us the ability and wisdom to fulfill our purpose and calling as taught by the Shepherd Jesus.
Hence, regardless of anyone’s denomination, country of origin, race, gender, or cultural associations within the Body of Christ, Chaplain Ann offers resources to support folks in the daily challenges which any soul faces while undergoing transformation.
